2025 is proving to be quite the moment for Alanis Morisette. She’s going to pull a big crowd at the Glastonbury Festival, and her hit ‘You Oughta Know’ has been reaching a new generation of fans through Fortnite.
Now the 1995 album that track was taken from, ‘Jagged Little Pill’, is getting a very modern makeover through a partnership between Rhino Records and KiTbetter.
It’s one of three albums from the late 80s and mid 90s– the others being Stone Temple Pilots’ ‘Purple‘ and The B-52’s ‘Cosmic Thing‘ – being reissued in the startup’s ‘KiTalbum’ format to celebrate anniversaries of their original releases.
These are physical reissues in collectible packaging, but with digital content including music videos, artwork, photos and more attached.
KiTbetter, which is a subsidiary of South Korean firm Muzlive, has sold more than 10m albums in its format since 2014. All three of the Rhino reissues cost $19.99, and ship on the respective anniversary dates.
